CAZO MISS
I still remember the day vividly when I,only 4yrs old then, went with my parents, holding their hands to a white and blue building one fine morning. My father patted me at my back and told me,"This is going to be your school. You'll make new friends here and will play with them. Now when we go inside answer whatever is asked to you."Now I was always a very shy and timid child(I am still timid though),I was nervous the moment I entered the Principal's room, and when I was taken through the long corridor to a secluded room on the other side,I had already started crying. It seemed to me that the corridor was too long...too dark...and I won't be able to see my parents again.By the time I entered the room,my eyes were filled with tears and I was unable to see anything clearly. It was a big room with lots of toys,a blackboard on the wall.In the middle of the room I saw an old lady, with short hair, wearing a floral printed frock and a big smile on her face. She came forward and held my hand and started talking in such an affectionate manner that without me realising all my fears vanished.I answered her questions.I got admission and got admitted in nursery. To my greatest wonder I found that old lady to be the class teacher of the nursery class. She was the favourite of every student. Her affection, her love made each student feel at home in the school. She used to sing to us,tell us stories, play with us,feed us...........and we all loved her.She was the second mother to every student. She managed every child single handedly without a frown. Her dedication and sincerety is rarely found.Today when I have become a teacher too,I realise what a tough job that old lady did.I still miss her...and I am sure every student who attended Miss. Cazo's class miss her.No one can ever forget the lady with a smile and a heart filled with love. She was a short lady, and today when I remember her,I can't help but believe in the saying... "ALL GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES........"
